Flirty

One of the paperpacks in the new Idea Book (available August 1) is called Flirty. I finally finished one layout using this cute new paper. The flower and the sentiment were done using the new stamp set Love Blooms. I am very excited about this paper because I have a lot of girl pages to do! You can't see in the picture but I used Stardust glitz on the flowers with a sparkle center to give it some more bling! I used a retired background stamp (but you could use any background stamp) to stamp goldrush right on the goldrush letters FUN that I cut out with the art philosophy cartridge on the cricut!

Candy or Tea Holder

Look at this cute candy or tea dispenser using Pemberly. I have admired many of these that other consultants have made. You can put either ghiradelli chocolates or tea bags in there. I think these are a great gift. I embelished this with flowers from the circut and the front is an cricut image as well. I found my pattern here.

Use What You Have!

We all have them. Those scraps of paper that we can't part with, yet don't have enough of for complete layouts. These two pages are a great way to use those scraps. I used pieces of many different kits, I just picked them and used them. They made colorful cute pages that could be embelished in many ways and used for rmany things.

This one has strips that are .5" wide and various lengths. You can just cut the tails by hand, they are very easy.

More Cards!

I had planned on scrapbooking this weekend but instead was in the card making mood. Here are a couple more I made this weekend.

This first one is a birthday card where I will mark their birthdate. I scored the creme brulee carstock and then sanded it to give it those white lines. Love the white core cardstock for this! I made those cute flowers on the cricut. It was the first time I had made them but definitely not the last.

This next one only uses cardstock and the flutter paper shapes (only 5.95 for 68 of them!) with embelishments. I inked up the butterflies with Indian Corn Blue and Outdoor Denim. The inside is stamped with the Card Chatter-Sympathy set that says Deepest Sympathies. I think sympathy cards are hard but I like how simple this message is. Again I scored a line on the bottom and sanded all the edges to give a little more dimension.

July Stamp of the Month

I love this set and can't wait to purchase it. I think it will be perfect for cards or layouts. Who wouldn't want to be told that they make the world a better place!

This set can be yours for $17.95 or for only $5 with a qualifying purchase. Please contact me if you are interested.

While the cat's away.....

Yep, I had the house to myself today and this is what I made! These use the May Stamp of the Month but the techniques would work with many larger stamps. I used the blending pen and watercolor pencils which I love. Coloring is fun no matter how old you are! On the first one I took three pieces of white cardstock that were each a .25" smaller than the other. I stamped at one time over the edges. Then I matted black between the layers. It's easy but I think it looks classy. I got the idea from another CTMH consultant and I love it!
