Planning for Valentine's Day

I think this card will be for my husband for Valentine's Day but there is the definite possibility that I will give it to him beforehand, just because!

It uses the December Stamp of the Month and Roxy paper pack.

Thank you notes and card box

Here are the long awaited thank you notes and card box that I mentioned quite a while. This uses the elemental paper pack which I have mentioned I love! The my creations box comes white so you can embelish it anyway you want. The strip on the edge of the b&t is so nice. Notice it down the side of the card? The box with 8 thank you cards are going to go into a basket for a charity auction along with some other things I'm working on.

Cherish the Day

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this stamp set. I think it is so versatile. I haven't used it for a layout yet (but I will). I have a couple of cards that I have made below. You can purchase this stamp set for $17.95 or if you purchase $50 of CTMH product you can get it for only $5! But hurry because this set is only available until November 30, 2011.

This one uses elemental....did I tell you it's one of my favorites? I think it will be great for male or female birthdays. Do you like that Make a Wish strip down the left side? It's from the top of the elemental paper. Just a thin strip that makes the paper even more versatile.

This one uses Bella, which is now retired, along with a retired stamp set. There are many other papers and complimentary stamp sets (or die cuts) you could use to recreate this card.

Countdown to Christmas

You have a little time to get this ready since it only counts down the last 9 days. I can't believe how easy this was. Got to love the cricut but you could do this with any appropriate sized box.

This uses the Countdown Stamp Set

Finally.....Some New Layouts

Sorry for the delay in getting some layouts posted. Here are some I have done with old pictures of my son when he was a baby....he's 17 now!

These first layouts use Elemental....probably my favorite of the new paper packs. Perfect for many things. You will see cards made with this paper soon.

These layouts use Believe. I really like the younger Christmas paper with Santas and true red and green.

August Artwork

Here are a few things I have made with some of the new paper packs and the stamp specials. More on that to come soon.....

Pair a Phrase with Mulberry paper. I stitched the border using the new ruler. It's great.

Pair A Phrase with Fan Fare

The new Elemental b & t. Love the top strip. I cut it off and used it on the right side.

You and Me!

I finally finished my layouts using the You and Me special for May. I am very happy with how these turned out. These pictures aren't the best so trust me that the colors are beautiful. This kit is part of the new special

. “You & Me: Stronger Together” Storm Survivor Benefit Campaign
Because of the success of the You and Me constant campaign from last month and our desire to do something to benefit the victims of all of the tornados there is a new campaign called You & Me: Stronger Together, to raise funds for the survivors of the severe storms that have pummeled the Midwest and Southern states.

During the month of June, order a You & Me kit for only $15 US (a retail value of $34.95), and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the American Red Cross 2011 Floods and Tornadoes relief operations.

The You & Me: Stronger Together campaign will continue until June 30 at 11:59 pm (MDT) or while supplies last. Please note that supplies are very limited and we expect a quick sellout.

New Studio J Layouts

Everytime I use Studio J I love it more. I got these the other day. They were only $6.50 per two page layout. I think that's a great deal considering how quick they were and I didn't have to print the pictures and I used a lot of embelishments and stickease. let me know what you think. Try it yourself by clicking the Studio J link to the right!

Lucky Card

This is a 3 x 6 card that I made using the Lucky paper pack. I think it's very masculine which I think is usually harder than feminine cards. I love the sentiment stamp set. It's perfect for birthdays!

Studio J

The other day I was putting completed pages in the new CTMH scrapbook that I purchased and realized that I had not scrapped our vacation to Universal Studios that we took last year. Well, I take a lot of pictures anyway but I really take a lot of vacation pictures. I decided to use StudioJ. Love it! I'm finishing up a few more layouts before I order them. I'll post when I do. If you haven't tried Studio J yet I suggest you do. It's so fast and the layouts are great.

Try it today!

Magic Layout

This layout is Out of the Hat out of the Magic how to book. Our how to books make layouts so fast and easy but they look so nice. This layout uses Caboodle paper which is discontinued and some stickers but it shows how our how to books work with paper and embelishments from anywhere.

Memory Box

This is the memory box I made for my cousin's new baby. Unfortunately, CTMH doesn't make these boxes anymore but you can probably find something similar at your local scrapbook store (I know Mangelsens has them for in a kraft paper color for you local people).  This paper is CTMH but is discontinued. I love it though and thought it was perfect for Alex. I put his gift right inside and shipped it off.

Birthday Cards

In my mind you can never have enough birthday cards or thank you cards on hand. I have 3 birthdays coming up and since they don't know each other they will each get the same card. This is using Sophia which is my favorite of the paper packs.  And who doesn't love sparkles!

Lucky!

This is a layout I made using the new Lucky level 2 paper pack and a layout from the Magic how to book. It's from many years ago. It's so fun to look back on the old pictures.
