I have had several customers ask about a card class so I will be offering one in June. We will make 8 different cards(w/envelopes) using the Under the Sea stamp set on page 41 of the Idea Book and Footloose paper from page 40. This picture shows 4 of the cards. The class will be held on two different days. Choose from Friday, June 8, at 6 p.m. or Saturday, June 9 at 9 a.m. I will even have all the paper precut. Buttons may vary slightly in an effort to keep the cost down. The cost is $16. We will use the blending pen, glitter & more. RSVP to mebfalcon@yahoo.com or 402-990-5631 by Thurs. May 17.

An Oldie but a Goodie
This paperpack (That's Amore) and stamp set (Love Language) are both retired but I love. This card is for my nephew and his new fiancee to celebrate their engagement. I always love folding the corner over like that. I only put a little piece of b & t behind since only a little bit shows. You could use this layout for a wide variety of cards.

Banners Galore!
Look at this great video showing the new mini banners. I am going to use these in my dessert area for my son's graduation party next month. I am also going to use the large pennants for my mantle. I will post pictures when they are done.

Dotty for You
When you place an order of $35 or more in products from the Spring/Summer 2012 Idea Book between April 17 and May 31, you may add the Dotty for You paper packet, valued at $19.95, for just $5. Dotty for You includes 24 specially designed, coordinating B&T Duos® sheets (2 each of 12 patterns) and an artwork idea insert to get your creative juices flowing.
You may also get this darling paper packet FREE!
Hostesses will receive a free Dotty for You paper packet when their Gathering sales total $400 or more (excluding tax, shipping/handling, and Operation Smile donations).
One side of each paper has small one color dots in colors such as lagoon, creme brulee, smoothie, sunset, sweet leaf, and grey wool. The other side has a variety of patterns in full color that correspond with the dotted side. This pack is perfect for boy or girl, young or old.
I made this card for my sweet little cousin who turned 1. I love how it turned out. I used Dotty for You, my cricut, live, love, laugh and card chatter-birthday. I used 3d foam tape on the large star to give it dimension.
Place your order here.

April Stamp of the Month
Well, my computer isn't exactly cooperating so this is a little blurrier then I would like. Trust me the images are really crystal clear. I just wanted you to see the artwork a bit larger.
You can purchase this set "You Are..." for $17.95 or $5 with a purchase of $50 or more. Spend $100 and you can buy two, you get the idea.

Leadershare!
I was so fortunate last weekend to attend Leadershare in Omaha. Leadershare is a Close To My Heart corporate sponsored event. We had four of the leaders from corporate come in for a one day workshop. During that day we made this layout:

This was the first time I had used the Everygreen Cork Shapes on p. 129 of the Idea Book. For only $3.95 you get over 20 shapes. They look great, especially when you ink up the edges a bit. They are also adhesive so they go down great! This layout uses the Pemberley paper and The Best Things stamp set on page 98. It has one of the truest statements....The best things in life aren't things. Well, scrapbooks are right up there though!
We also made 4 cards using the new Colonial White Die Cut cards on page 123 of the Idea Book. I'm not going to show those yet though...may be a workshop in the future.
Speaking of workshops. We had a bonus class day on Friday before Leadershare. During that day we made 12 pages using Footloose and a boxed card set with 10 cards. Those will probably be workshops as well.
If there are certain things you would like to see in a workshop or certain days that work best please let me know. These clases probably won't be until June after graduation.
